Linda Pimentel is the founding owner of Origins of Inner Strength: A Pilates Studio. A native of the Dallas area, she received her Pilates Practitioner certification from Polestar in 2000, followed by professional training with Stott Pilates on the Mat and Reformer in 2005, and with Peak Pilates on the MVE in 2008. Passionate about the positive impact practicing pilates has on overall health and well being, Linda is also certified by the Pink Ribbon Program as a Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist and has completed professional training with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Arthritis Foundation, and Osteoporosis in Depth. As someone with mild Scoliosis, Linda has experienced firsthand that practicing pilates can strengthen muscles and relieve pain. Because of her own experience, she believes that exercise should improve her clients’ ability to function and handle stress in daily activities, allowing them to thrive instead of just survive. She has successfully helped numerous clients regain mobility after surgery/injury, ease joint and back pain, and reverse the effects of degenerative diseases such as muscular dystrophy.
